Conner Curran is a 13-year-old boy struggling with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) is a severe type of muscular dystrophy predominantly affecting boys. The onset of muscle weakness typically begins around age four, with rapid progression. By the age of 12, most individuals with Duchenne muscular dystrophy are unable to walk. Transferring Conner in and out of car over a dozen times a week was becoming a significant challenge for their family. Physical toll of their daily routine grows immensely for a DMD family. The Sky is Yours along with other nonprofits donated to purchase a brand-new ADA accessible van. This donation helps take some burden off the Curran family.
